Afternoon Tea at The Cellarium Café and Terrace Westminster Abbey

A picturesque café and terrace, situated in the heart of one of London’s most iconic landmarks. Cellarium is set over two floors in Westminster Abbey, offering a spectacular Afternoon Tea.

The Abbey is continuing the ancient Benedictine tradition of providing hospitality to visitors. The Cellarium, part of the 14th century fabric of Westminster Abbey, was where the monks kept their stores of food and drink. Now the Cellarium Café refreshes this tradition of hospitality.

The first floor is a beautiful cellar, frozen in time, with ancient arches overhead the space, only a short walk up the stairs reveal a light-filled terrace, with views of the Abbey. In both of these beautiful locations you can enjoy our Cellarium Afternoon Tea.

The menu itself is an elegantly handcrafted selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes paired with a cup of tea or glass of English Sparkling Wine.
